You have to loosen up the power steering pump. You can see a bolt under it from the back side. You need to loosen it up and it will drop the pump down a little to slide the belt off the pulley.

Usually just shows you the routing of the belt.

spray lots of wd-40 on the long bolt. It'll help loosen it up....it can be frustrating, but it'll get loose.

It's just under the power steering pump there's an adjustment screw to the left on the bracket sorry I don't have a pic. Counterclockwise to loosen you may have to tap the bolt to loosen the pulley

You don't need to loosen the ps pump on the 2.5l...loosen the pulley under the ps bolt by loosening the bolt in the middle...then facing the engine...in about the 10 o'clock position...near a sensor...there is a bolt that you loosen the pulley with...one direction will move the pulley up...which will loosen the belt...the other direction with move the pulley down which will tighten the belt up....keep in mind the routing of the belt we removing...I found a very helpful link online...and just did this replacement a few weeks ago..I will search for it...and post it if I can find it again.

this is close to what i have on my 98 cept it's a stand alone pully. on mine i have to loosen the pully center bolt and use the adj bolt located on top.
I would either take the old belt with you or take the numbers off on it if they are still there. if not you have an 85% chance of going back a 2nd time for the correct belt.
